We walk through life accumulating stuff to make us happy. The car, the house, the white picket fence, the …(insert whatever you want to here) and yet the emptiness inside is till there. The house is full of stuff, the designer clothes, shoes or whatever it is for you. Yet the hollowness gets more desolate and the silence around is deafening.
So we pump up the music louder to drown out the silence and the screaming of our hearts in agony. We will do anything to silence the heart and anything to break that silence.
The silence shouting, “this isn’t what you want, is it?”
Are you going to look at yourself and see who you are?
Are you going to switch off the music and sit in the silence so your crying heart can whisper to you?
So she can tell you her fears and her desires.
